Granville Schools Superintendent Jeff Brown has been contracted for another five years of service by the Granville Board of Education following a unanimous vote April 19.

It also retains a 2-percent cost of living adjustment each year the contract is in effect.

The new contract also grants Brown a total of 27 yearly vacation days.

Board President Dr. Jennifer Cornman thanked Brown, “For continuing to want to work in the district. Leadership matters, as we all know, and we’re very happy to have him in this leadership role… It’s been a particularly challenging year and I’m very pleased with the way we’ve been able to do all that we’ve been able to do, so I’m very happy he’s willing to extend his contract.”
