The (4-1) Peoria Lions will roll into “The Gem City” on this “Football Friday Night” ready to face (4-1) Quincy Notre Dame at Advance Physical Therapy Field for the Big 12 Conference Tournament crown.

We’ll take a closer look at PHS, and two of their standouts that the “Blue and Gold” will have to contain this evening if they hope to close out the 2021 Spring season with a win at home.

We’ll also hear from Raider seniors Ethan Kite, Ike Wiley, and Lake Bergman regarding the highly anticipated match-up at QHS.

The (1-4) Blue Devils of Quincy will re-kindle their Western Big 6 Conference rivalry showdown against Rock Island this evening. The two squads will square off at Flinn Memorial Stadium at 7:00 p.m. during this final week of the IHSA “Spring” season. Quarterback Tate Meyer is scheduled to return from injury for QHS tonight. He’s been sidelined for the past three weeks due to an unspecified lower body injury.

We’ll check in with Quincy head coach Rick Little and ask him about the emotional lift the “Blue and White” may have tonight, playing at home, after playing the last two weeks on the road.

The Chargers of Illini West will not be on the football turf tonight in Rushville. That’s because their game against the Rockets of Rushville-Industry was canceled earlier today. We’ll have details on why the move was made.,

The 23rd-ranked Hawks of Quincy University returned to the college diamond earlier today to open their GLVC weekend series against Rockhurst. We’ll have game highlights from QU Stadium as the Hawks try to lock up their 14th win in a row.
